Wow Hotwheels what a nice shopping cart and website combo. I see how in the shopping cart you really got away from the original template. I feel that I am still too constraned by the template. Te header size, margins, etc. I wish could just start with a blank pg like in VSD and do what ever i want.
Thanks
Thanks Philosopher I will have to find out what lineage means. But I would like to change the entire background if i want, not just the background color.
I would also like to expand the the height of the header image (bigger than the original template)
Cheers

You can still control all of that Vince. Even if you started with a "blank one" you would only have the options that the software offers anyway for customization. Starting with an existing theme gets you the majority of the way there. The only constraint you have is you are committed to the over layout once you start (top, left, right navigation).
Take a look at our http://swag.coffeecup.com site You can pretty much do anything you like. Soon this will be updated with our new header and it will look identical to our existing one.
