I had a video on my old site that was AVI and media player would play the minute the page was opened.
I'm redoing my site and I guess this is an outdated method of playing video?
Flash is the way to go now?
Why?
SWF or FLV (what's the difference?)
THANKS.

Here is a good link that will explain you the difference between swf and flv.

CC has a nice bit of software called Web Video Player where you can convert your AVI to Flash and embed on your website. Give the trail version a try and see if this meets your needs.

I agree - Web Video Player is pretty slick and easy to use. It will easily make the transfer for you.
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
