Hi Everyone!

I'm building a website using VSD, which has been quite easy to use and has really made a great website for my company. However; I have a questions in regards to drop down menus. If I purchase the Web Form Builder, will this allow me to make a drop down menu that will replicate my tabs and actually work in VSD? Also, before I started this whole process I purchased the HTML editor, but I was told that I couldn't create drop down menus in HTML and then put them into VSD. If anyone has any suggestions and help or even the answer, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Doug, the Form Builder doesn't do menus (navigation), the only drop-down feature in it is to allow a choice for something pertaining to the form (example: "Best way to contact you" and the drop-down would list the choices: phone, email, text).
The HTML Editor has a CSS menu maker. You could create your menu with it, copy the code, then use the HTML tool in VSD to add it to your site. It's actually quite easy to add html into VSD. You'll find the Add HTML tool (and an ADD FLASH tool) in the side menu. Click and drag out a box where you want the menu on your page. It will pop open a dialogue box with options to add the code either to the Head or the Body of your site. Paste your code in it. Make sure your box is the same size as your menu, if the menu is 600px by 100px for eample, click your box, look at Object Properties and make sure it's the same size. If you need to change the html code, you'll also find Edit HTML in the Object Properties.

You won't see your menu in VSD, just the HTML Box. Go to Preview to see it.

Thanks paintbrush, I tried doing an example of that however: I'm unsure how to create the drown down menu to look like my tabs in VSD. I apologize, but I slightly brand new to the whole HTML world. Thanks again for your help

Doug - are you using one of the VSD templates? Is it possible for you to post a link to the site (or page)?
If so, someone here familiar with html/css could take a look at it and see what needs to be done
