Visual Editor that heretofore had worked in older versions of HTML editor now say it does not work because I use HTML 5.

What is the workaround. (To my know Ido not use HTML 5)

That alert box says you cannot use the visual editor with an HTML5 document. Simply use a different DOCTYPE if you want to use the visual editor.

I downloaded the latest version of VSD six times, and time I access from short cut it tells me "Visual Site Designer Application has stopped working". Once I download it again, check the box to launch VSD, that's it.

Please help.. This should not be happening... I'm off to download it for the 7th time.

Run it as Administrator C Cole, and that should fix your issue.

Right click the short cut you are using to run the program.

Choose Properties.

Go to the Compatibility Tab.

Check the box at the bottom to Run as Administrator.

Say Ok and start it up and it should be fine after that. It's a well known Windows Vista and 7 issue, not a CC issue.
