I am a complete novice to CC and have just started work on a site this evening. I want my home page to be one image, without a background, and to fill the browser window (e.g. 1024 x 768). Now here's the problem; I have opted for a website page with the same dimensions as my image but it continues to appear smaller with a white background! How do I make the image fill the browser window and not show a background?

Thanks in advance for your help :)

Thanks for the article Paintbrush - it's exactly what I needed.
