Tom is correct,

It isn't the developer that creates the rules for the game, it is their client. If their client's usership uses ie6, then what does the developer tell the client willing to fork over big bucks "sorry I don't do ie6!"

if i had a corporate customer with big bucks telling me they only use IE6 i'd be calling them a waste o space - and that they'd be better off spending the money on an IT manager before their business dies of a virus :rolleyes:

Not me. Id take their money!!!

Unless of course they asked for my opinion on the issue. I would certainly warn, them but ultimately it is their deal.

i guess you guys dont actually work for corporates? - in my experience they're more interested in someone that is open and honest with them and has helpful suggestions than someone who just sucks shirttails.... Maybe thats why i keep my customers and have no need to advertise ;)
