Hi, I'm thinking of an intro for my web site.
When they type in my web address they will into with an effect like a "time warp" or something like a swirling effect that, then go to my main page.
I'm not sure if i can accomplish this with firestarter (I probably can) but am not sure how to proceed or if there is perhaps already an effect on the web somewhere to download from. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

:/In certain instances for some reason I can't use effects such as shadows on regualar text. It was actually on in then it dissappeared and I can't get it back even if I delete it and start all over with a new text boss.

Jeff, You can accomplish an intro with Firestarter, BUT be aware that a lot of people hate these intro pages. It's just another click and delay before the real contents appear. A great many will simply leave your site before they have seen what you have to offer.

Also, those who access the web using all those 'I' gadgets from Apple, such as Ipad, Iphone or whatever, will not be able to view the flash intro at all.
