Does CoffeeCup offer a software for message board/forum building? If so which software is it because I have a small amount of hits to my site each day and I think that adding this feature for people to be able to discuss the artists and content on the site could make a difference. My site is www.dusk2dawnrecords.com. Thank you for any assistance provided in figuring this out.
Not at this time they don't Tony, sorry. Not sure if the future will bring something like this or not, but there's a thread in the suggestions for new products (or something to that effect) that people are asking for this. Feel free to add your comment there supporting that request and one can never tell if maybe the number of people requesting has something to do with whether it's produced or not

Tony
I visited your site and it is quite nice but, allow me to say, before you start to put people using the board/forum you need people to find your site and visit it, after, the board/ forum will keep them as returning visitors. Publish your site in Google, Yahoo, etc, use meta data for the search engines.
Meanwhile you look for the board/forum application. My website www.art-i-batik.com first 70% time visitors came from search engine as google.

Hi Tony
On you purchase songs page you have some overlapping there. Take a look at the attached screenshot. Might need just a couple more line breaks before the juke box visual.

I am currently learning phpBB it is really comprehensive. I have a lot to weed through right now, because I am new at ll of this, but the potential is pretty incredible.

Hiya Esther,
phpBB is truly a very feature rich forum system, widely used by 1000's of sites including some of my own. I have also found one called SMF which is just as feature rich but seems easier to use also. I'll be playing around with that one a bit as I build another gaming guild website for the guild I'm in on Dungeons & Dragons Online. I love forums too, I think they are invaluable tools for communication & sharing info.

I haven't used PHPBB since I found SMF. Very easy to update and administer.

CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!
What a resource. SMF is awesome
It took about 30min to configure it.
That was a great suggestion. With a free product like this its hard to image putting any resources into developing a competative product.

Yep that's what I think too madsur, I love it, easy and simple to setup (way easier than phpBB is for sure) and lots of addons you can put in for portal to create a site and a zillion other things. Pretty slick indeed, glad you like it and have fun with it

Here is a security tip to help prevent getting hacked. Don't allow people to upload avatars or use avatars stored on another server. Make them use the avatars available on your server.
