hi coffeecup... i just wanna ask. why does my website running so slow...could you give me some advise how to make it run fast? tnx..
heres mysite: www.transferit.com.ph
slow site
Looks like there's a lot of images that are being scaled down to fit the design. I see some that are over 160k. Before adding images to VSD always resize them to the final size before the final design is published. You can resize them in VSD while trying to get the layout correct but after that resize them with a photo editor and VSD should see the changes and publish the altered ones with no more work from you.
100k should be the max target but the smaller they are the faster the page will load. Make them as small as you can while still getting the quality that you need.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Many images are resized in HTML or CSS. Serving scaled images could save 2.2MiB (89% reduction).
You have Inline small CSS.
Enable gzip compression.
Optimizing images could reduce their size by 29.3KiB (27% reduction).

Or in VSD friendly terms, if you have a copy of CC web image studio, try save for web option on one of your bigger images to see if it reduces it a lot, yet still looks ok (if you havn't got it download a free trial)
Started using CC VSD in January 2009, I don't do HTML code, Sales from CC site exceeding expectations taken me out of semi-retirement
