Saving a file in HTML Editor 2008...

I'm new to coffeecup so I hope this question is not lame. I've downloaded the trial version to check it out before making a purchase (reasonable thing to do). When I create a file I can see it in the list under the Files tab but when I navigate to my Working folder through windows, I don't see the file? I go under the File menu and select Save As... and assume I am saving my file but don't see anything?

Am I doing something wrong. Is there a publish function I must activate first or is this a limiation of the trial version?

I would create a new folder and call it e.g. cctest and now when you use 'save as' select the folder you called e.g. cctest and save it in that folder. This way you are sure to know where the file is and to find it again.

Hope this helps :)

Geoff,

By default, the HTML Editor saves files to C:\Program Files\CoffeeCup Software\Working\ but you can change the location in the preferences.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
