hiya Kat,

The code looks right if you for sure have the pictures that are missing inside a chickens named directory that is inside the main directory of your site. Double check your files to make sure they are there, and also double check them to make sure they are named exactly the same (capitalization etc.) also. Looks to me like the images are not in the same location that the site pages are telling them to look for them.

I tried to navigate directly to the pictures and they didn't show up.

Disabling right click does nothing to protect your image files. It is a waste of time and hinders accessibility.

gosh, this is frustrating.
thank you both for your help! I still cant fix it
photo names are all lowercase.jpg... no spaces, no funky characters
the chickens folder name is the same on my pc and on the server.
I even uploaded the entire chickens folder again with all 50 photos.
ftp program says its there where it should be....
my site is hosted at yahoo. I even went to thier file manager and everything looks correct.

I have been fighting with this for days, knowing the problem would eventually show itself... it hasnt :/
I dont know where else to look.

Hiya Kat,

Try typing out a direct link to one of your images in that chickens folder and going to it online. That's the first place to start to know if that image is where the site page you're working on says it is. You've gotten quite a few images correctly into your site, so it's got to be something pretty simple that's wrong, and that's staring us all right in the face. So start there and get the direct link to a few images first and then post that link here for us once you have one that works. That will help us know what to tell you better and might help you see what's wrong before you even post hehe never know! :)

The images are not in the directory specified in the page html. This image can not be found.

signaturefeathers.com/chickens/wheatenwalk.jpg

Your code looking for it.
<a href="chickens/wheatenwalk.jpg"><img src="chickens/tn_wheatenwalk.jpg" width="200" height="188" alt="" title="Wheaten Rooster" border="0" align="" /></a>

Follow up on this....
I knew the links were correct and the files and subdirectorys were right
The server said the files were there, including file size
but the pics within then "chickens" subdirectory just would not show up.
I worked on this for DAYS!!

Finally called yahoos business website support line
They figured it out and got me back on track!!!
When I FIRST bought the web package I played around with their free online webdesign program
Apparently I created a directory named "chickens" and the two chicken folders were fighting with each other. (I bet they were both roosters)

Thanks guys for trying to help... this was beyond all of us!

Kat
