Picture size for online store

I am making some icons to place in store for non tangible products . What size should they be? 200 x400? bigger?

Are you developing a store using the CC software or outside? If you are using the CC software I see that it resizes the images automatically to the default sizing in the software. If you are doing something in just a html page, then the choice is yours of course.

I have SCC Pro and it works great! I also have SC designer. I've been able to customize the templates. If I wanted to create a shopping cart from scratch, where as I don't use a template to start with, can this be done?
