Okay I tried it. I am first publishing via "Publish to a folder" on my HD. For some reason (I'm using Windows XP), even though I designate a specific location, that folder does not appear. It can't be found. I've tried three different locations including my desktop, but nada. Because of that I can't find the lightbox index folder, so I can't copy any code.

What do you think I'm doing wrong? And, can I alternately publish "Insert to Page instead" and manipulate the html from there? Thank you, Stan

Sorry went missing, Christmas technology ban
Reason i said walk before running is the scenario i see before me !
Using CC video player, like CC photogallery integrates really easily for those of us using VSD, rather than HTML editor(for more able coders)
As soon as someone throws all this code at me (ie for light box) i get in a complete knot and usually give up
The others in here will get you there, just ignore your errors along the way.

Create a new page each time you try the new insertion method suggested, ie gallery2 so your uploading to a new folder each time, once you get it right you can go back with direct FTP, and delete all the others

Ok I know my way is the amateur, method, BUT
Happy new year all

Hi Stan,
When you published your project you had to give it a name and also as you said you can choose you desired destination. The folder would not be named index, it would be named what you named it when you published it. The index file will be in that folder.Make sense? :)
I to use XP

Viv, you're right I'm a bit over my head. I have been playing with CC photo gallery concurrently. I will probably end up with it if I can't get Lightbox to work. I do prefer the flexibility of lightbox a bit more though (arranging images, display size, etc).

Bruzer, I'm not sure what's happening. When I hit publish, I choose "Publish to Folder". I designated a path to my Desktop (C:/Documents and Settings/Stan Kim/Desktop/vlb), then named the index file name "test.html"

It says it's published but when I search for the folder or index file, it's not there. I've tried different locations, made sure I had no "hidden file status" on my folders, etc. I'm fairly PC literate, but obviously a bit of a dunce in the web creation world.

Interestingly, if I browse for the folder within the Lightbox browse function, I can find it! Just can't find it in Windows Explorer. Thank you.

When you preview it, and the window pops up with the gallery, what does it say at the top? (for location )

Bruzer, I am not able to preview because my browser can't find the file either. "Problem loading page, file not found."

By preview, I am assuming you mean "Publish" with "open web-page after publishing"

Viv, I'm continuing to play with CC gallery also. Is there a way to make the photos appear larger on the page when published? I only see a way to make the background bigger. Thank you.

Put you images to use in a folder full size
select folder option and select your folder full of images
Theres an option drop down menue from what i remember, to select image size to reduce to, choose largest one, and then you may have to increas the size of the gallery frame your using

PS you can drag the template design off the front of each template to achieve a plain design, so choose biggest template design first.
