Photo Gallery VSD - Page 2

Basically Stan just open the index.html file in notepad or html editor, then copy this code

<link rel="stylesheet" href="engine/css/visuallightbox.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />
<script src="engine/js/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="engine/js/visuallightbox.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<!-- End VisualLightBox.com HEAD section -->

then go to edit>edit header and paste. if you don't need to preview the gallery, just upload the 2 folders ( engine and data ) to the root directory.
then using the html tool copy the code starting here
<!-- Start VisualLightBox.com BODY section id=1 -->
to here
<!-- End VisualLightBox.com BODY section -->
save then upload. sounds simple doesn't it.

Bruzer, thank you for your response. I'm sorry I don't follow because I don't understand the larger steps and order of events. When I create the slideshow, do I publish folder first, or right to the server? At what point do I insert the code? Thank you.

Bruzer - Only problem I see with your suggestion, is that he'll lose the addition the next time he opens his project in VSD.

I don't think so Phil, if he uploads the 2 folders , and has the code correctly in place, as long as the folders are on the server, it will work! :)
In VSD I think only if you use the flash tool to add a flash project, when it adds the files, and they are moved, that's when you get into trouble...
this is gonna be fun!

Unless I'm way more tired than I want to admit :/ if he does this, and later wants to update his site with VSD, once he opens his project in VSD the changes that were made to the index.html file "manually" will not be there.

If I'm mis-reading what you are saying, I apologize, and please feel free to grab Jo Ann's cast iron skillet (since she's playing with snowballs anyhow) and smack the tar out of me :D.

The index I was referring to is to the one that visual lightbox produces, not the actual website html index , sorry I didnt specify that! thanks Phil :)
I'm still trying to upload to sdrive lol
