I like the Visual Site Designer. It allows me to make my website the way I want it.

www.gwinnettbankruptcylawyer.com

I put this up a little while ago (long enough for the bots to crawl it) and apparently I have a page rank of 0. Zero.

Besides linking to the sitemap (created with Sitemapper - I think I did something askew there), is there any glaring mistakes that this website has? I'm about to redo the text on it and before I spend the time doing that, I'd like to make sure I don't need to start over.

Any thoughts on the site of any kind would be helpful.

Who gave you the rank?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Google has a pretty good, recent guide on the subject, "Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide". You can download the pdf here:
http://www.google.com/webmasters/docs/s … -guide.pdf
On the 5 or 6 pages of yours that I looked at, I noticed that your Meta tags for 'description' and 'key words' are identical between the pages. Also, your title tags are very similar, with only a word or two changed between the pages. It would probably be a good idea to tailor those tags carefully to each individual page - as strongly suggested by Google.
I'm sure you'll pick up a few more pointers in the Google guide... :)

Yeah, I'm a noob. ;)

That's checking basically back links, which I have not really done any of.

I just reviewed Google webmaster tools and it seems very helpful.

Thanks for the help. I'll work on some things and see how it goes...
