Has anyone actually gone through the tutorial and built a nested menu using the tutorial and had it work down on the mobile end?

Are you talking about the horizontal or the vertical menu?

I've built them, but not in SD4.0. I did it earlier, the horizontal with 3.0 and the vertical with 3.5. I have the former in my sharing folder.

OK, I just typed tree paragraphs that disappeared. I'll call it a night and come back tomorrow and explain what is happening with this menu.

Sometimes I manage to hit a key down on the bottom of the keyboard and it wipes everything out.

Anyway, I built the nested menu according to the tutorial and it worked until I got down to mobile. I have four pages that have a drop down link. The page link works fine at the desktop size and the drop down link works as well.

The page link refuses to go to the page but the drop down works on mobile.

So I'm thinking I missed something when I built the menu. Went all through and everything looked like it was correct. So I decided to just take the menu rsd file from CC and put my links in. No workie. Does the same thing as the one I built.

Don't ask for a project file because all I have is a website file. I will build one later today and post it then. Or, someone could just use their tutorial file and see if they can find out what's not working.

I have an hours trip to show this website owner what his site looks like now that it's mobile.

After talking with my client we decided to use a unlinked menu item with the drop down having all the active links.

I'm still going to try and figure out why the menu will not work the way I described in mobile view. It's not a priority right now but I'll come back here and update if I get that working. Maybe Suzanne could check on that since she did the tutorial. :D

Ernie, I've not had the time and opportunity to check into this, as I intended to do. I had an accident two days ago and banged my head into something hard and still having pains...

I wonder if Ray, https://www.kreationspecialties.com/, used that horizontal menu as the base for his site menu. Check it out, and maybe, if it works on mobiles, he might be able to help.

Inger, I hope you will be OK. I'll give Ray's site a check and see how it works.

My client is all good with What I came up with but someone else might not be.

That's why I want to get the mobile thing fixed.
