Howdy do,

http://www.the-web-seeker.com/

I would like to be able to put a picture of a map on
a customers site to show their business location...

Is there a gadget, or location where this can be found.
Free would be nice, but realistic....

Thank you,

It's called Google Maps.

Tom,

Thank you.... I had looked around quite a bit in the
Gadgets area... And have used the main mapping tool
a few times...

Was not aware, until dug a little and found their
API.... this is available for any single site for free.

But $$ efforts... dont know yet...They have an enterprise
version... Just queried them in this regards.

Again thanks,

Well you really don't need the API.

All you need to do is go to Google Maps and type in the address of the business to display the map.

Using some sort of imaging tool, you capture the map image and save it as a jpeg.

Now use that image as an image link (copy link code from google maps when you captured the image).

Now when someone clicks on the map they go to google maps to the business address already entered and all they have to do is input their "get directions from address" to display directions.

Tom,

Most excellent suggestions....

Google's auto-bot reply sorta answered my question.
Then I re-read and still didnt quite understand...
But want to be on the safe legal side...

Your suggestions are really excellent.....

Thank you,
