HTML Editor has a simple HTML 5 Theme that comes with it that has blog entries in the HTML.

I'm thinking there is a way to replace the HTML part of the code that looks like a blog with a real blog (eg. Blogspot, Wordpress). Is that possible or is it all for looks.

well you can probably do it with a script that works with those types of blogs but you'd need the script for them from the site you get them from. From there you would replace the script that includes the blog section currently with the new one. You may need to work around the theme layout so be careful there, but I'm sure you can work something out with it, yes.
