I'm not sure what to call this, haven't found anything quite right online yet...
I'd like to have a series of photos that can be scrolled through horizontally, like a thumbnail strip (except they don't open up to larger photos). Also, no Flash - Something like this:

<left arrow- | picture | | picture | | picture | -right arrow>

So there could be several photos, but only 3-4 would be visible at a time. Any ideas?

Check out two of my sites in my signature, the johnsflats one and the eikweb one. I have used the same script on both, on the former you can halt the scrolling if you rest the mouse over it. Are they something that you could use?

There are no arrows, though...

You can actually use the thumbnail strip in CC Photo Gallery for this. Just reduce the main image area to zero (or close to zero) by dragging the edges. Then reduce the background area to just enclose the thumbnail strip and re-size the thumbnails to whatever size you want the photos to be. Play with other options to remove buttons, etc...

EDIT: Oops, just noticed that you wanted "no Flash"; - never mind...!

Thanks everyone! Now I have choices. The one Eric posted is what I was looking for, but I like your auto-scrolling slideshows, too Inger. Per - that would have been my first choice, except for the Flash
