inserting a counter - Post ID 24858
How do I insert a counter that will include weekly totals and monthly totals?
Sandra - As Eskil said, the functions that you want are not part of any of CoffeeCups Software. However, there are loads of free counters out there that offer what you are after and more besides. I have listed 3 below for you to take a look at. All are very easy to setup, most just require that you enter some code - just cut-n-paste.
However, be aware that because they are free, there may be some advertising with them. It is very small and usually incorporated within the actual counter. Take a look and you will see what I mean.

Janys got me hooked on using statcounter.com.
It's got an amazing amount of statistics included and no advertising. The catch is that most of the detailed statistics are only logged for the last 100 pageloads (each time a page is loaded counts as a pageload). You can pay monthly for bigger logging (don't know if I'll go that route). I'll have to check those out, Mark. Thanks.

Adam, Have to say that http://www.shinystat.com/en/ look to be pretty OK. Seem to offer what most people want, and its free.

Adam,
I agree that that is a catch, so a lot depends on why you need a counter. I go for the 1000 per month at Euros 8 (more or less) per month. All the information remains the same, and the good variety of interesting statistics, but just a lot more in the count.
