I want to try new Mac Beta Web...
I'm confident with VSD, how much of a leap to the new Mac Beta Web Builder?
The Web Editor for OSX is completely code based. There is no visual editor.
Learn the essentials with these quick tips for Responsive Site Designer, Responsive Email Designer, Foundation Framer, and the new Bootstrap Builder. You'll be making awesome, code-free responsive websites and newsletters like a boss.
Ok...so probably a tough jump up. Any suggestions? I'm using VSD now on an old PC and I'd really like to be using my mac. Lot faster, better, etc.
Right now we only have the one web editor for OSX, so I don't have any other solutions for you. Maybe it is time to get some HTML books.

Why not try opening a new user account in your old pc, just for VSD dont transfer anything from old user account, you might find it works quicker , this has worked for me in the past.
Started using CC VSD in January 2009, I don't do HTML code, Sales from CC site exceeding expectations taken me out of semi-retirement

Most people don't want to even boot up their old pc once they use a Mac.
You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.
Laurie,
Back when I was just getting into web development I read the CoffeeCup book "My website is better than yours" and it was a great beginning HTML book. Not sure if they still sell it or not. I was lucky enough to work right down the street from them when they were still here in Corpus Christi and I picked up a copy. Helped me a lot. I was a Mac technician at the time. I am now a full time Web Developer. Unfortunately I out grew (I hand code a lot of it now) most of their software products (I loved them even though I had to use them in Parallels) but I had signed up for the Mac beta program and I just purchased the Mac programs so I could see how they are because of my fond memories of starting out in web design.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
