where in the menu line should I place target="_blank" to create links that open in new pages? Case in point:

Menu6=new Array("Link Name","http://www.websitename.com/community","",2,0,120);

where does target="_blank" go?

At http://www.coffeecup.com/free-dhtml/help/archive.php you can find the instructions for using the DHTML Menu. You will find lots of helpful information at that location.

The specific information you are looking for is at: http://www.coffeecup.com/free-dhtml/hel … w.509.html

Thanks, but the answer is completely useless. It's not that I am blaming you, but wow - if I use that answer ALL of my links will open in new windows, not just my one targeted link. It's a shame, I would really like to use this menu, but I can't because of that.

You could write your own menu using javascript, or I suspect you could modify the javascript produced by the DHTML menu builder.

I have just started learning javascript, and such a project is well beyond my ability.

You might experiment with using the target command in the URL section of the links. I have no idea if it will work.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
