I'm looking to pay for help my dropdown menu. The menus needs to have the same position in all 3 browsers Chrome, FF & IE.

Currently the menu is in different positions on each browser & it shifts way over to the left if I open the history or favorites tabs. I'm sure there's some additional coding I need to manually add but that's my weak spot. Willing to pay fair rate for service.

Here’s the link to project.

See if this helps. The menu is consistent in FF, IE, Safari and Chrome. But there is a space below the menu originated by the dimensions given for the menu, and that obviously has to be dealt with in the menu creating programme. If I try reducing the height of the menu, the whole menu shrinks, not just the empty blue space.

Of course, if you sent me all the source files, I could redo the page for you in CC HTML Editor...

Hi Inge,
It seems that the program i used for the dropdown menu called flash menu maker determins the menu height by the longest submenu you have on the navigation. That seems weird to me. I don't remeber CC's menu maker having that issue. When I publish the navmenu it gives me the coding options below:
    Simple
    Inside a layer
    Inside a floating layer
When i reduce the height from inside of the program it cuts offt the submenu buttons or tabs.
Choosing the "Inside a layer" option allowed me to insert the swf to my table height parameters but it seems like that caused the other problem with menu not staying in place.

I don't know your menu creator, and I don't know Namo, so I can't help with those. But as far as I see, the page has no layers??

Are you working in visual or in code?

I also had a problem with the flash slideshow and video just below the nav bar. I downloaded it, but it won't load for me. Maybe there are bits and pieces belonging to it that I haven't got. But the strange thing is, that when I tried to set a CC made navbar on top of the blue bar, it placed itself nicely, but there were no sub menus to be seen. I also tried with a cc made flash, and no problems with that. What have you used to create those two?

If you want to send me some source files, you may first contact me through one of the two first sites in my signature.

the billboard was created with Flash Slideshow Maker Professional
and the video is Macromedia Flash. I haven't had any issues with those.

I'm going to recreate the dropdown with CC program & see if i get the same results

OK, good luck!

BTW, I opened your site on my iphone, and none of the flash bits were displaying. That is because the 'igadgets' from Apple don't have flash at all, due to some issue between Adobe and Apple. And the use of iphones and ipads and such is increasing. As for CC, they are moving away from flash alltogether, converting their programmes to html/css. The latest prog to be discontinued was the very popular Flash Firestarter because something strange in the latest flash update (version11. something). I just wanted you to know this, so that you can change some of your content in time. With html5 you can show slideshows and videos without having to use flash.
