How you you do your webpage, then...
I don't know how much of this is known to you, but since you say you are a Newie, here goes:
First of all you have to have a web host for your site. That is a company that provide web space where you can upload your site. Various web hosts have been discussed here:
http://www.coffeecup.com/forums/the-bre … g-service/
When you have registered with a host, you will get the details for setting up the connection.
If you start working with the CoffeeCuo Shopping cart creator, you will see that it has a built in FTP client, which is what you use for transferring your site from your PC to the web space you will have bought from the hosting service. Set it up with the details given to you by the host (user name, password and server name).
Since you are asking about incorporating a shopping cart into a website, I take it that you want to have other pages in addition to your web shop. You can make those pages with either Html Editor or Visual Site Designer (VSD) and make a navigation system that includes the web shop. You may be able to find a template in the CC shop that has versions for both the shop and the rest of the site.
BTW, it is not necessary to post the same thing under several headers, like your post here and also in the Shopping cart topic. When you start working with the Shopping cart, any questions you might have about that app. should be posted there, but general issues - and I see your post as that - are best posted in this thread.
