I'm currently creating a site and would like to make the same url appear in the browser address bar throughout my site - no matter where you are within the site.
Many Thanks for any help
How to make the URL Constant...
I do believe I've done that with frames, like some domain services do as masking. You have a main file (index or default.htm) that opens another html in a frame at 100%. As far as the address bar shows, you're always looking at the main file (index), so the address bar never changes, but what's being browsed is the rest of the site in a 100% frame. Hope that made sense. Someone else or I could add details if needed.
Do not forget one thing though. A lot of places and in the book from Nick Longo. Search Engine like Yahoo, Google or any other search Engine do not pick up website using frame in a main page or using intro flash to open the main site.
Do I have the right or what?
