Well the post was actually about "creating" an image with the text on it rather than having the text in the HTML code of the site. If you create an image with the text, or if you have the information on the site right now just take a screenshot of that part and there's your image, then people can't copy and paste it, they can't spider it with their spam bots, etc. because it's an image not text now.
To do this just open any image program such as Paint or Paint Shop Pro or Photo Shop etc. and create a new image the size of the space you will be filling. Add text to that image in the program with whatever font and color and etc. that you want and save it. Now add that image to the page of your site you want it on in place of the text and you now have a more protected contact area or whatever it is you don't want scanned by bots and search engines etc.
Keep in mind that this is not clickable for email so you'll want to be sure your email address is very clear so they can retype it unless you have a form on the page too. Hope that helps
