I'm not that good with HTML but I finally figured out how to use the HTML thing there to get my text to display the way I wanted without text sizes of users setting fouling up the layout. My question though is how other objects react to the HTML object.

Here's the site I'm building. http://dawsession.com

Here's what I mean. To get the jukebox to show where I want it on the page I have to place it way up there...

How do I use HTML objects and still have WYSIWYG editing for other objects? Thanks.

Here is the arrangement in design ...

That give this result...

I seem to caught between a rock and a hard place with the HTML objects throwing off the positoning (in design mode) of everything else.

Kootama, I would suggest that you read this article and implement the procedures in it to see if your alignment comes back.:)

I think I found the issue. When I created that site I started from a blank page. When I went back and started with a template (which apparently already had some style sheets built in to deal with the issue I was having, fonts being resized by the browser) the issue went away and everything started to align correctly.

Either way, it's working now and I will take heed of the above design procedures. Thanks a lot Eric.

Hi,
Have created a few non-published websites in VSD. To free up memory gone in and deleted pages.

Anyway, most recent website (6pages) won't open. I get message "the webpage cannot be opened" WHAT?

I see the front page in the preview box but even with freeing up memory, have run out of ideas.
Thanks

I haven't seen that one yet.
Does it do it on all your unpublished websites? Did you try a system restart?

No, not with any others. I'll try a restart. And update. Thanks

Hi,
Restarted, same results. BTW I have not updated/downloaded any updates to VSD since purchased 1.10.

Have you tried right-clicking your program/shortcut and then clicking 'run as administrator'?
You might want to go ahead and download the latest version before you do anything else - the newer version is more compatible with the newer browser versions, not to mention many new features since 1.10! :D

You might as well do the update and see if that fixes the issue. There's been many bugs removed and more enhancements added since last year.:)
Wow paintbrush you lapped me. I never saw you coming.
