Hi All,

I'm trying to create a page with layout 36. I inserted an image into the header and it worked fine until I inserted a table in the content section. Then the image disappears from my header and only the header area and "alt" message show. I used the "table design" tool from the "insert" menu. Any ideas where I'm going wrong.

Can you give us a bit more information please? Such as what program you are working with, version of the program, and a link to the site if you have it uploaded so we can see what it's doing would help anyone that might be able to answer your question

Hmmm. This sounds like a good challenge. If your alt area shows then we know the header hasn't been pushed out of the screen by the table which sometimes happens. Is it possible the table dimensions are too large and thus interfering with the header section? We definitely need to see something, that would help. Do you have a little box that shows with a red x in it? Does this happen in all browsers? I would double check the html and make sure you did not delete the pic location when inserting the table. Not sure this helps, but if you can answer a couple of these questions it might give us some more to work with.

I am trying to make a layout using the Table designer, I have tried to put the pics and verbage in the table than add it to my page, i cannot get it to work right. Than i made the table added it to the page, than added pics and verbage, still cannot get it to work. Cannot find information on this either, is Table designer used for layouts or not. I am very frustrated I have worked very hard to get this to work, it does not.

Which programme are we talking about here?

Tables for layout was very often used in the past, now people tend to use CSS.
