I have thousands of blank lines in my code, it's on all of my pages... I have deleted all the (extra blank lines) but they re-appear when i go to edit again. I have 2 coffee cup flash menu's... when i highlight the first menu, the code highlights some of the menu code at the top + all the few thousand lines to the bottom of the page to the rest of the code for the menu. does anyone have any idea what might be happening here?

What version of the HTML Editor are you using, what version of Windows and SP are you using, can you upload the page(s) and give us a link to look at, are you using a coffeecup theme, if so can you tell us which one so we can check that too, and any other info you think may be pertinent.

I am using Frontpage 2003, SP3. windows xp pro. the page is at http://olivexnz.webs.com. no theme i know of. just used the simple buttons which came with coffee cup...

Ah, so what program by CoffeeCup are you using then? I'm off to bed in a minute here, but hopefully someone can help you with this. I'll assume you're talking about the menu maker, but let us know for sure. I was assuming the HTML Editor, my assumption sorry.

I just reread your original post about the highlighting (sorry, just got up lol so it's taking a while to answer)

Anyways, I'm thinking you got issues with Frontpage, in fact I would think that 100% since it's famous for inserting spaces and lines that aren't needed and messing with code that way. I would suggest you try the trial version of HTML Editor or the Free HTML editor by Coffeecup, or any other text editor if that one isn't to your liking and see if it does the same thing in there. I'm betting not. Give that a try and let us know if it's still an issue or if it's a Frontpage glitch.
