I want to design a site; user registers ( just like with coffe cup), then they have access to one or two excel sheets-the sheets collect 6 points of data calculates a product and displays a simple graph; user can save as version of a sheet to their own account and print or save copy; log off; log back on and review their work or start with a fresh sheet version.
how can I make this work?
excel sheet to web site
I think Google does something like this for free.

Hi Reid,
Look for open source solutions out there in area of a Content Management Systems. Google it and it will come up. You can probably find a plug-in or module/component for your application.
When you add other things to a CMS, not to plug coffeecup as a zealous user, many of the cc programs ie. web calendar, form builder, flash chat(with a little moding can be used as online customer support), jukebox, flash video, etc.(many others) can be integrated into the cms easily and may actually can provide a higher level of security for your site vs. alternatives.
If your site gets busy, it's not like a straight HTML -- Visual Site Designer site. You need to check it often and keep back up's/do upgrades/security updates with your site.
EDIT: I had logged off and was on the phone when I realized that something I said was off. Flash chat allows you to create online customer support as it is, but the mod I was talking about makes the admin online also instead of having to use it from the desktop.
