DWT's - Post ID 25966
We recently made the switch from FP.
Question:
Can we use the DWT's the same way we used them in FP?

I assume these are Dynamic Web Templates. Haven't personally used them, but they are files with .dwt extensions created in FP (so not sure if CC will support this).

Yes, Dynamic Web Templates.
I didn't know only FP created them. Very handy though for large sites.
Anybody else? or is this unknown territory?

Quick answer is no.
DWT's from FP or Dreamweaver can only be used in their respective programs.
HOWEVER, you can use the original page as a template for all your other pages. It just means though that you have to manually create each page as they can't be done automatically as in FP or Dreamweaver.

Thanks Mike.
Is the code they use for DWT's compliant?

Fairly compliant. You just have to strip out the "bots" code as that will only work with FP.
