now, I am totally confused....the alt text works perfect in IE....it is the other two it does not work in.......
I think what they are saying, instead of the alt attribute use title and it will show up in all browsers.

In summary: the fact the alt text shows up on hover in IE is a screw-up. It uses the wrong tag. The other browsers got it right.
Bruzer, I'm not articulating well, sorry. My point is VSD is supposed to minimize needing HTML coding. It gives you a way to apply an alt tag but they left out the title tag. If all you want is the alt tag you don't need the HTML tool, but if you want both you do need it. I'm just commenting on that lack.
