May need legal input on this but will throw it out for anyone that may be able to provide the insight. Is a website name/title still considered a DBA/fictitious name if you accept payments under your own name as a sole proprietor? Thanks, Mark

Never come accross this one in UK, I even have a bank account with my TRADING name rather than my actual name, having never registered either.

I did get into a row many years ago because when my brother came into the business, we were going to call the shops our surname brothers but there was a major clothing company in UK trading under same name, but as we were selling different products, it was deemed to be OK
