Hi people,

I need to make a website with forms that access a database (MySQL, SQL server, ...)
At this moment CoffeCup is not able to do this (out of the box), so:

What do you use to add this functionality to your website?
Is it compatible with 'easy-to-use software so you can create cool Websites' :) ?

Best regards,
Marc

Why can't you upload to a database 'out of the box'? Have you checked out CC Form builder? See attachment

True,

but I need a more dynamic access. I need to do some queries to the database and display the result.
I need the client to be able to delete, update, etc...
Further, in this instance I do not have a choice, I have to use MS SQL server and not MySQL

Marc

This is probably a MS server then? On Linux servers we would use php and mysql, but you might perhaps need asp. net for communicating with your database. You need to find out what server side language your hosting server has installed and use what they have. If they happen to have php, you can create your php files with the CC HTML Editor.

Thank you guys,

I have not been able to explain my 'problem'. I think that I will be able to do stuff with a database spending lots and lots of hours of coding, but I want to do it the 'CuffeeCup' way, no coding, easy..

Been looking at dbQwikSite, anyone else you this or something else.

Thanks,
Marc

I log into my cpanel and do it manually. No actual coding, but a lot of typing.
