My computer got 'buggy' and was continually crashing my Coffee Cup VSD software. I purchased a new computer and recreated a much better website for a farmers market group. I have had no luck uploading the new and improved website. It says it is uploading...and when I go to the website, even hitting the refresh...it is the tired old website. Is this something I need to 'fix' on the VSD, perhaps change a setting...or, do I need to contact my hosting provider. I am not tech savvy, know a little...so, be gentle

The site I am assuming is vomcfm.com and checking your source code looks like it uploaded. I would try a resync-website and see if that straightens out your links., another thing you could try is using anftp client such as filezilla or direct ftp and upload just the files folder to your server. It's not a hosting problem though. Do you get any errors? what operating system are you running?

I am running Windows 7....does it matter that I am using Mozilla? I will go through your suggestions. The site that is showing is NOT the new site...I redid the buttons on top...and cleaned it up a bit. It does say...'your website has been uploaded'...yet...same old, same old. I'll let you know how it worked out....not sure about using an ftp client or direct ftp....yikes...my brain is hurting and I haven't even started yet!

One thing also to check is whether the old pages are just being cached on your computer. Clear your temporary internet files (browser cache only) and see if that helps also.

To do this go to the top of the FF browser menus and choose:

Tools >> Clear Recent History

Uncheck all except the cache (unless you don't care if the rest gets cleared or not)

Then click the Clear Now button and refresh your page.

I upgraded my VSD Version 6 to Version 7. I guess the original version 6 website (PST Coffee Web-v6) was zipped in the upgrade automatic conversion (guessing because I really did not pay attention during the automatic upgrade). But a new site folder was automatically made ( PST Coffee Web_website) with a different name v6 removed.

On the new site I upgraded the wording and buttons ect, but did not upgrade the Forms Made in Web Designer. When I attempted to publish the finshed upgraded web, I get a message that says the XML File for the Contact Form (PST_Contact) is not in the v6 folder (which is the old site).

So I went back into Forms Desgner and Saved (under a different name, PST_contact to Contact) the Forms (made in Forms Designer) used in the program to another folder. I then remove the old flash forms and added the new ones made with Forms designer from a different folder. I did this hoping that now I have save new forms that should have nothing to do with the old v6 site. I checked the new web and the Html shows the names for the new forms I made.

However the publish up still gives me the same message looking for the files in the v6 folder. I have looked all over VSD to find where I can redirect this to look for the new forms in the new site rather than the old.

It almost seems as though the upgrade, upgraded just the VSD stuff and not the links to the Flash Forms, but I am guessing.

Can someone help me with the keystroke to fix or the reasoning for this

Have you tried going to edit>remove files then remove your old form files, then using the flash tool re-add the form by locating the xml file.

Thanks, the missing link! I see in there that the old pst files are referenced along with the new ones I saved in the new folder. And I can see it relates to those very forms. So if you delete a form, this needs to be a companion step. Great, I will play with this. Awesome
