That's a good start, Greg. If we could actually see the code of the pages, we would be able to give you hints along the way. To achieve that, you could create a folder on the server, call it 'new' or something, and then upload the pages to that folder. I'm doing the same with this site that I'm working on (no links working yet): http://www.johnsflats.com/new . If you take away the 'new' from that url, you'll see the current site. In those two versions of the site you may perhaps also find some ideas as to the presentation of your images of painting work you have done.

Greg B. checking in again, I went ahead and deleted out my web site from the server and uploaded what I had so far made to the server. There is the home pg and 9 other pages, 8 pages are major headings and pg nine is one of the multi image job examples.
There is a problem with the html code on the home pg that I have not been able to figure out how to fix. There is remaining old code that does not show up in the pg rendering but is still yet left in the html code or on the view pg source code I had deleted it in visual site designer software and yet there it is in the source code and I cannot seem to remove it
How do I go about ridding of this particular source code?

<div class="Object291"><p><a href="houses%20for%20sale%20pics.swf"><font
size="5">2 interiors, basement</font></a></p></div>

There too may be a couple of extra images in the code too that are not rendering either I too cannot figure out why the code would be there and the images are not rendering

In frontpage express I used to change the source code with wordpad or notepad and then save the file after changing it and that would change the source code. Does not work here and if I do manage to change it it restores itself So I need to learn how to rid of the old changed code that does not want to go away

The words "Free Estimates" is on top of the word "Exterior".:(
I think the word "Exterior" has dropped down between the images for me. FX 4 and IE 9.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Yes, I see the same as Eric and Tom. I have Ffx and IE set to 100% scaling, which is the default, and then the word Exterior drops down a line. If you reduce the font size a bit, that will probably not happen.

Since I'm coding, and not using VSD, I can't help you getting rid of the code you mention. Maybe Eric has some trick for that ;) But a piece of advice: File names like 'Houses for sale pics.swf' is not a good idea because the spaces in the file name will cause problems. Rename it 'houses_for_sale_pics.swf' then you'll get rid of the '20%' that pops up in all the spaces.

Oh, and there is a typo in line 2 from the bottom, look for the word 'propery'.

All of my links in the original site were swf files When I first started to remake the site I tried to do it with the swf files You people talked me out of that and convinced me to go another way so I redid the pg and deleted the swf files the code should not be there it is deleted code it is rendering behind the left side image of the house I do not know if that is causing a displacement of images probably not right now I am just trying to get rid of the unwanted html code in the source code of the pg
After I get rid of that unwanted source code then I will deal with the improper rendering of the pg

I don't see any stray flash code. Try clearing your cache.:)

In VSD, under the Edit menu, there is one option called 'Remove files'. See if you can remove the files and its code through that.

Eric, the code he wants to get rid of is there, 3rd div in the body of the document. And there is a reference to it up in the head, 2nd under Object styles.

And Greg, I think the way you have created the garage floor page is much better than those flash thingies.
