Okay,

Have been doing a bit of thinking about a project where I need to get information from the user to remain for the users current visit to the site (or whilst the browser stays open for want of a better timeframe). I'm using a PHP & MYSQL enabled production environment so this thinking has brought me to either using Cookies or PHP Sessions. If users have cookies disabled then they obviously aren't going to work. Is there any security issues with using sessions that may cause issues with the plan?

What do others use when they have the option Cookies or PHP Sesssions?
