I'm quite confused and need some guidance!
I believe I have successfully uploaded my website designed in VSD to my FTP (I'm using CoreFTP). My domain name was purchased on hostmoster and so I'm trying to connect the two pieces together and I can't figure out how to do so... Please help :)

How long ago was your domain purchased?
Where are you hosting your domain?
And have you set your Name-servers to match where you are hosting your domain?

It was purchased Sep 2011 and does not expire till Sep 2012
What are the steps I need to take to make sure my name servers match?

First, where are you hosting your new website? Where do you store your files in other words. :P

Ok, go to Hostmoster and sign into your Cpanel Click on the 3rd tab Domain manager. And you want to assign a domain to your account. You should use a domain that is not already associated with your account, type in your domain name. Then you must verify ownership...

Now, where ever you bought your domain you should log into that account and
To verify ownership of your domain you have to point the nameservers for your domain to:
NS1.HOSTMONSTER.COM, NS2.HOSTMONSTER.COM

If you need help doing that, I will need the link to where you bought your domain name from. :P

And you want to make it a Parked Domain

Is it possible to host and purchase the domain in the same place??

Yes, it is. But since you already own the domain, you would have to transfer the domain to Hostmonster.

Thanks for your help! I have to double check where the domain was originally purchased from. I thought it was hostmonster.com but I could be wrong.
If I have any more problems, I'll send you a message.
