Could be that you just need to OPEN your existing form file within VSD. Try uploading it again, and check that the swfobject.js gets included in the upload from the form builder. The directory is ok, all the files need to be in the same directory.

I tried that and I am still getting the same OOPS message. The only thing I see is that the file is called SWFOBJECT, not SWOBJECT.JS. Could that be it?

Hi All,
I seem to be having similar issues, except mine seems to be a browser issue.

Issue:

I get the generic <b>OOPS! </b>You forgot to upload swfobject.js ! You must upload this file for your form to work. message when I view the site either locally or remotely in Internet Explorer 7, but NOT in FireFox :D

Site:
http://www.s163878793.websitehome.co.uk/hairbynaiomi/

Code:

<script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script><div id="CC6854114"><b>OOPS! </b>You forgot to upload swfobject.js ! You must upload this file for your form to work.</div><script type="text/javascript">var so = new SWFObject("contact_form.swf", "contact_form.xml", "350", "375", "7,0,0,0", "#ffffff");so.addParam("classid", "clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000");so.addParam("quality", "high");so.addParam("scale", "noscale");so.addParam("salign", "lt");so.addParam("FlashVars", "xmlfile=contact_form.xml&w=350&h=375");so.write("CC6854114");</script>

Checks and tests

All my files are located in the same folder which the HTML page which is to display them is located (http://www.s163878793.websitehome.co.uk … mi/contact)

I've used; FireFTP (Firefox plugin), DreamWeaver and the inbuilt one with the software to upload the files and I get the same results each time.

I noticed that I did get the error message in FireFox if I had NoScript blocking the page, but the second I allowed the page through (locally or remotely) it worked. With IE I get a popup asking me if I want to run scripts on the page and even if I allow them I still get <b>OOPS! </b>You forgot to upload swfobject.js ! You must upload this file for your form to work.
