Eric,
Heeeeeeelp (can you hear the whine in my voice?)

I need step-by-step-how-to on getting the dynamicdrive image tool tip to work. (It's really cool) I'm not sure how to get the script in the header. I don't know how to edit the HTML for a link (or any other object that isn't already the HTML object) I've tried to follow the directions, but either I'm stupid or under-educated (I'm hoping the later, 'cause there's no cure for stupid;))

Thanks for everything and sorry to keep bothering you.

I see that you have not mentioned my recent post where I suggested Google maps. In the map you indicate there is the Google icon down in the left hand corner which is why I told you to go make your maps in Google. You will get exactly the same kind of map that you say you like by doing that, and cut out an awful lot of complication with the kind of map you seem to be trying to create. You then just slip the map code into an html box in VSD.

Seems a lot simpler to do it this way. After all...Google are already experts in producing these maps so why try to reinvent the wheel...

Janys,

Using the Google map, while definitely simpler, won't give the visual aesthetic quality that I'm looking for. Thanks for the suggestion though. Also, once I get this figured out, it is something that I can use in different settings and ways. The whole...why give a man a fish, when you can teach him to fish... kind of thing.

I got it to work with just a little tweaking of the code to make it point to my images.

Is this still what you want?

Eric,

That seem to be exactly what I want.

I'll give it a try and let you know how it goes.

Thanks for all your hard work.

Is there a way to format the text of the link itself? I'm placing them on a dark green background and I'd like to change the link to white (I'm actually using the non-link version).

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
