Please help. I was in the support area but it went silent for a few hours. Below is the outline of my issue with the centering.

The script for the menu should go within the header of the page not in
the body.

I took care of putting the menu in the head. Thank you. That took care
of the separating the headline from the menu but the menu is still not
centered. How do you center the menu?

You will need to adjust the padding for the position of the menu to fit
your design using divs and CSS.

I read the article and from what I got I used the following code within

Then in the menu-menu.css I place this code:

margin-left: auto ;
margin-right: auto ;
}

Attached is what the page looks like in Firefox preview.

The only issue I wanted to correct on the current web page is to center
the css Menu. This method created more problems...I am hoping it's a
simple error.

I actually got the menu to center...inadvertently saved the
menu-menu.css to the wrong place. Interestingly enough, A couple
headlines from the body are on lines above the menu and have moved
towards a logo there.

Glad you got it working to your satisfaction Bryon. If you need any more help be sure to post your questions here in the forum. There's plenty of users that are proficient at CSS and those of us that are trying to be that can probably help.

I have been using DHTML menu builder and there is a choice left center right. The code drops in a VSD html box. I do not have to add files and although a lot of code is produced the result is great. The distance from the top of page is adjustable. I tried the css menu builder, almost the same interface but no center command.

I am working on it here http://las.inkmon.org/information.html it is for a Art Society site I am presently playing with. Only the contact tab has a link. There is a lot to add yet. The other members of the society have yet to have their say. Noticed it is centered. Another great CC application and free too.

You don't need the center command with VSD because everything is absolute positioning.
