Are there any .htaccess optimizers?

I know about W3TC for people who use a CMS - content management system like Wordpress, but what if my site has been redone in plain html and is now hosted on a plain old Apache server? Is there any kind of program that can optimize my .htaccess file for speed, caching and all that, if I don't know what the heck I'm doing with it?

Ok, how about this one? This one should help a little more than the Guide. It shows you how to build one. It will not build it for you but it is a very good resource.

I think it's a little more cruel not seeming to be appreciative of someone giving you some help. Adam pointed you in the correct direction and with a little reading it's something you can do. Your website wasn't built in one day so don't expect things to be so easy as your starting to get into stuff that only professional site designers worry about. Your site looks good and stepping away from WordPress although difficult at first makes things easier for the long haul. You can do this. Be patient.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Us too. :D

And yeah, thanks Eric, you're right. Sorry Adam.

Adam; As far as sci-fi, I'm an old timer at age 63. I started out being a fan of Robert A. Heinlein in the 60's. "Time Enough For Love", "Stranger In A Strange Land" and "I Will Fear No Evil" were my favorites. Also "Childhood's End" by Arthur C. Clark, which would make an amazing movie if done accurately.
