I couldn't play video on my site and ultimately had to edit a file that turns off
this filter --

SecFilterEngine off

It has to do with "Apache mod_security" ?

What is that exactly -- why do I have it (or did) -- and does it now make me vulnerable?

You can not admin Mod Security. Only the Apache Admin can do that.

Mod Security is a good thing.
