Same here. I haven't had Linux long enough to learn how to keep the apps updated. I could do with a hand, but this might not be the right forum for it, I guess.

Inger - Had a look around on Google for Flash/Linux issues. I think this describes it very well:

What I'm not finding is anything more recent about this. I tried upgrading the Flash on my Linux computer from version 9 to 10 in case it was just a matter of being out of date; still doesn't display right.
Let us know if you find an answer to this! :)

I've more or less solved it. A little Pixie suggested that I don't use the layered code, but instead add the heading into the flash. I did, and it works on the Eee. There is only one problem, and that is the flashplayer for Linux from Adobe which doesn't recognise wmode transparent, so I had to alter the settings for the background. That created a visible change at the bottom of the flash, where the next div starts. I have tried to make it as 'invisible' as possible, ut it can still be seen. Not in a windows OS though, just in Linux.

Paintbrush, maybe you can check what it looks like on your system?

Hey Inger, that's great news. I'm glad you were able to resolve the issuewithout having to resort to quirky Microsoft products. :D

Tom,

I'm not a fan of long, space-gobbling signatures, but yours is truly informative and useful - and deserves all the space it needs!

Now if people would just take notice and use those good links...

Yes they are. I used them all.

Looks good, Inger! I wouldn't have noticed the very slight color change if you hadn't mentioned it.
Glad you were able to get a solution to this :)
