Hi -

Does anyone know of an alternative to "Recaptcha" that can work using the new "Web Form Builder"?

Why would you want an alternative to Recaptcha? It's actually one of the best captcha systems there is available right now. Is there something that is not working in it for you?

Don't know what Sol thinks, but I find it too wide. Can't find any settings for the width of it.

I think quite a few of us have that same problem.
Jared Northey posted (Dec 15) instructions on how to change the reCaptcha themes here:

The other, optional themes all reduce the width of the box by about a third.

That's my gripe with it, too. It would be nice to have a smaller Captcha available (like the one in the old FB) if one needs a smaller form. The only thing I know to do is put a security question on the form (example: what color is a red apple? or How much is two plus three?). Then make that field required and limit the characters to the amount needed to answer the question.

I like the Recaptcha, but I have to allow a good chunk of web page space for even a simple newsletter sign-up to accommodate it.
I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by. (Douglas Adams)
