Hello Coffee Cup Users

What are your suggestions for adding a blog to a website?

Yes you can link to one of the existing blog hosting sites but then you lose your theme.
No big deal I guess.

Hiya Eric,

One of the easiest ways is to use the CoffeeCup S-Drive's Stream system. Makes for a really easy to do blog, easy to setup, and you can iframe it very easily into any existing page of your site.

You already have a free S-Drive account which you can create a free Stream with, give it a gander and see what it's like :)

Thanks for the speedy and useful reply Jo Ann.

I admit to pretty much ignoring "S-Drive". Never really got the point. Took a quick look and didn't see mention of a blog component but I'll will read through the posts and material on S-Drive.

thanks for the pointer.

bye

Hiya Eric,

Look for Stream on S-Drive, basically it's a blog setup, just not called a blog. Gives you the ability to add posts through the site here, via email (check the info for that on the stream page links), and you can use Power Post program by CC to post, so you have various ways to update your blog. You can even assign others the ability to update it too. It's pretty slick, and that's really all I know about S-Drive myself as I don't use it for other things, but many others do find it useful for hosting different things for their site, or hosting their sites in general.

Hope that helps :)

Stream, not blog :)

easily deleted by entry hence not much in there as i delete once completed.

ericB any chance of getting rid of your Australian (upside down) avatar with one of your own (browser issue i guess not all will see it that way)
