"Add files" question in vsd 7.0 build...

Hi,

I feel a little silly but how can I add files to my website (pdfs)? When trying to use the "add files" functionality under Edit, the window that opens does not allow me to do anything. I cannot view my computer's file structure, all I see is "Root" but I cannot click on it, nor anything else in the window.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for any input.

You don't want to use the Add Files for that. What you want to do is add text, images or shapes and then click the Link Toolbar Icon and on the Link Properties dialog use the Link to File option. VSD will then automatically add the PDF to your website.

Wow - that was too easy. :)

Thanks!

What is the "add files" functionality for, then?

To include other files that you do not want linked in anywhere.
