I am very UN-knowledgable about website building, but my 9 year old daughter wants to have a page where a user can choose an outline, then choose from a set of eyes, ears, nose, mouth, color, etc. to create an image.

I have no idea what this is called?

Does Coffee Cup offer any software to help design this page? Where do I find it? If not, where do I find this?

If I understand what you asking correctly: the setup to do something like that is quite complicated as it involves special scripts. No program will do this for you because it involves the end-user (your daughters friends and such) to actually change code as they move things around on a page. There are special javascripts out there, but one of our experts in that area will have to post something for you.

Thanks... So for a complete novice such as myself, I think you are saying this is not something that I can do "plug and play"...

In case it was not clear the idea she wants is to have a pallete of outlines of head shapes, You pick one, then choose "eyes" and choose a set. Then ears, nose, etc.

I figured it was not something easy but if anyone knows of a program out there that can help me, please let me know.

That is VERY cool, but way beyond anything I could even think of doing. She is thinking more of "line drawings" that can create a picture...

I am getting the feeling that this is more then just an "add photo's and plug into the site" kind of thing. More something that requires actual line by line creation?

If anybody knows if there is a "shoebox for a dummy" version that I could use, I would appreciate the knowledge!

BTW - What is something like this site called in web design lingo...?

That's actually an online shop for someone that creates (sews) custom stuffed creatures and items. Quite cute actually and very well done. To do something like this you'd have to have a lot of images and some really really great scripts. There might be something already setup, but to be honest I don't know what you'd call something like that, it's definitely a type of "generator" software but what kind I don't know.

Thanks, I will let my daughter know that either she has to become a programmer, or I have to go back to school for about a hundred years to figure this one out!
