I used the flash menu builder to build a menu that referrences the various pages of my web site. I used visual site designer to create my web page then inserted the flash menus into vsd created in Menu builder. They work fine in the preview but creat a 404 error on the actual site, I did upload the files suggested but didnt paste the code into the web pages per the save instruction, do I need to put these in and if so do I use vsd or another program.

The menu builder creates it's own 'index' page, but unless you want to use that as a part of your project, you will need to use the 'flash' tool in VSD to import your menu into the pages you have made with VSD.

Carl, The easiest way to get the flash menu in to your VSD page is to use the flash tool as Inger has stated. Click on the tool, then browse for the .xml file generated by the flash menu builder. After you click on it VSD will add all the necessary files to your site making it a simple process. Now publish and you should be go to go.:)

That's the method I used, it was suggested that the links in the menu builder were pointing to my hard drive, which is why it works in preview but not the site, I cant look inside the flash to see what the links actually are, so im not even sure this is it, any way to see the code for the flash menus to see what the links are?

The links are referenced in the xml file for the flash menu.;)
