I have the old 4.0.217 access manager. I have never ever used it. just now loaded into the computer. Went to open it and it was not loaded into the computer. I was reading a post about a redirect in another thread and this app was discussed. I use CC s-drive for hosting. Would I have any need for the updated access app. Please give an example of what that need would be. Thank you.

If all of your sites are on S-Drive I wouldn't bother updating. It's only for other servers that allow custom .htaccess files.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Yes, I only have the one site. Thank you for your prompt answer to my question.

New User,
I am a brand new user. I have version 5.0 build 235.
I need to only set a password for one folder. Seems all I have done now is to block access to my entire site. First how can I remove whatever I have done so the site will work? I am getting an Internal Server Error.
Thank you,
Doug

First, go to the Tools Menu > Remove Access Manager from Server. That will unlock your site.

What you did wrong you selected the top folder on the left-hand side and then selected a user. That will lock your entire site. What you need to do is select the folder you want to protect on the left side and then select the users you want access to that folder.
